A 66-creature Wildlands roster

The atlas now contains 17 starting partners, 27 basic enemies, 15 elites and seven boss species. The expansion adds 12 starting partners and 40 combat creatures. Each has original local artwork and matching movement, attack and reaction animations.

Spark Fox opens with Thunder Shock; Frost Otter starts with Ice Beam. Enemy roles include ranged attackers, healers, shielders and chargers. Each run samples its encounters from the expanded roster.

Learn your first fusion after 30 seconds

Until you complete your first move bond, solo runs begin with two attack moves. At 30 seconds of game time, a free guided choice helps you fuse them into one slot. The linked attacks fire together whenever that slot is active.

Completing the fusion saves the tutorial milestone and awards the first-bond achievement. Later runs return to your normal opening-move rules. Additional bonds come from rift victories; cooperative runs keep their usual opening rules.

Fusion and evolution do different jobs. Fusion joins attacks in a slot; evolution strengthens a move that has reached its maximum level and meets its stat-upgrade requirement.

Compare moves, evolution requirements and active-slot rules.

Ban up to three moves for each partner

Open Upgrades before a run and choose up to three moves to exclude from that partner’s choices. Bans also apply to a random secondary opening move. Your fixed starting move cannot be banned.

The preferences are free, saved separately for each partner and applied to the next run. Clear a ban when you want to try a different build.

Rift chances rise after missed checks

Rift checks begin after the opening 75 seconds and are 30 eligible exploration seconds apart. The opening chance is 20%; missed checks raise the next chance to 40%, 60%, 80% and then 100%. A living main boss pauses the countdown. A successful portal placement resets the sequence.

Bosses you have not beaten in a rift receive four times the selection weight, using the solo player’s or room host’s progress. This improves the chance of meeting an unbeaten boss without promising a specific next encounter.

A portal lasts 45 seconds. Its arena allows two minutes to win. Victory earns rewards and a move-bond choice; losing or timing out returns you alive to the main map without the victory reward.

Read the boss and rift guide before entering.

More attainable achievement goals

Track your first bond, a 50-creature collection, all 66 atlas entries, all seven rift bosses and cooperative expeditions. The one-run and ten-run cooperative milestones are active. Rewards use the existing coins and tickets.

What happens after the third boss?

Main bosses still arrive at 3, 6 and 9 minutes. Defeating the third does not end the run. Each expedition generates terrain from a new seed, and the main map changes its theme every four minutes.

This release has no stage-clear screen or next-map unlock. A timed stage mode is under discussion and is not part of this update.
