Poke Survivor at https://pokesurvivor.app/ is a free browser survival game built around movement, experience and skill choices. This Wildlands edition uses 66 original creatures and an adapted open-source game engine. It is an independent project, with no affiliation to Nintendo, GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company or pokesurvivor.com.

You can open the game without installing a client. Choose guest play or sign in, select an owned starting partner and begin. The roster includes 17 potential starting partners; availability depends on your collection. A normal run starts at level one, while permanent partner upgrades apply at the start.

For a first session, use classic survival to learn movement and move selection. Choose Expeditions when you want a fixed map, a ten-minute limit and all four attack slots firing automatically.

Move, collect experience and choose upgrades

Attacks trigger automatically when their targeting conditions are met. Your job is to steer around enemies and ground attacks, collect experience and choose upgrades when you level up. Stay near useful drops without moving into a crowd just to collect one. A clear route out of danger is often more valuable than another damage upgrade.

On phones, landscape orientation leaves more room for movement, attacks and upgrade choices. The settings menu offers graphics quality and reduced screen motion if you prefer a quieter view.

Build around skills, then learn move bonds

Level-up cards can add an attack, improve a learned move, increase a stat or offer an eligible evolution. Each partner has a compatible move pool, so the full move list is a reference rather than a list of choices available in every run. Improving attacks you already use can be more effective than filling every slot with low-level moves.

In classic mode, the selected slot attacks. A bond links multiple attacks into that slot so they can fire together. Until you complete your first bond, solo runs begin with two attacks and offer a free guided bond after 30 seconds. After that lesson, classic rift victories are an important source of further bonds.

Move evolution is a different upgrade: reach the move’s maximum level and meet its listed stat requirement before an evolution card can appear. Expedition resonance adds a third system: two matching bonded moves at level 3 plus a catalyst item produce an extra attack. Check the move reference and resonance recipes for the exact conditions.

Before a later run, the Upgrades menu lets you ban up to three moves for each partner. The starting move remains available. Use bans to reduce choices that do not fit the build you are trying to make.

Choose classic survival, Expeditions or a team run

Classic bosses arrive around 3, 6 and 9 minutes; defeating the third does not end the run. Its biome changes as exploration continues. Optional rifts take you into a timed arena and then return you to the map. A living main boss pauses new rift checks.

Expeditions start in Whispering Forest. A verified forest clear unlocks Echoing Cavern, and a cavern clear unlocks Ashen Volcano. The map theme stays fixed for the stage, and the final guardian’s defeat ends the run. Read the Expeditions guide and roadmap before planning a resonance build.

To play with friends, open Friends & rooms, create a two-player or four-player lobby and share its invitation link. Everyone must join and ready up before the host starts. Your normal public game URL opens the site; the lobby invitation link takes a friend to the intended room.

Keep rewards and discover creatures through play

Coins buy permanent upgrades, and earned tickets provide draws from the collection system. Scores measure weighted defeats and use separate leaderboards; coins and score are different resources. Expedition clear bonuses are additional rewards, with one-time first-clear tickets for each map.

The personal creature atlas begins with unknown silhouettes. Encounter a creature to reveal its entry. Each evolved form needs its own encounter; seeing an earlier form does not reveal the rest. Discovery also differs from ownership: a revealed entry does not automatically become a selectable partner.

Online guests use a browser cookie to recover their profile. Accounts sync progress through the game service. Transfer guest progress explicitly when you want it added to an account. Keep the browser cache if a result is waiting to sync, and reconnect before switching devices. Offline practice does not submit a verified online leaderboard record.

Is Poke Survivor free to play?

Yes. This edition is playable free in the browser and currently has no ticket-purchase checkout. Its rules and collection differ from other similarly named websites.

Why are some atlas entries hidden?

They are discoveries. Encounter that species and form in your own game to unlock its description and attributes.

Where should I start if I keep losing?

Focus on movement and one useful attack, keep an escape path open, and take the first-bond lesson. In the forest, follow the resonance checklist and move out of marked ground before attacks land. More damage helps only if you can stay alive to use it.
